Who We Are

Top Hand Construction is an owner-operated general contracting business based in Victoria, TX. I started it in early 2026 after 10 years working in construction — about 50 jobs in, ranging from door replacements to a 25x40 covered pergola. I do handyman work and home repair — plus decks, outdoor kitchens, and metal buildings for homeowners and property owners across the Coastal Bend.

I self-perform the work I'm built for — decks and pergolas especially. For specialized trades (concrete flatwork, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, exterior paint), I coordinate trusted subcontractors who work to the same standard. I carry general liability insurance, pull permits on the work that requires them, and don't start a job without a written scope you've signed off on.

Why We Work in Victoria and the Surrounding Area

Victoria is home base, and our service area extends out to Port Lavaca, Cuero, Goliad, and Edna.

The Coastal Bend has specific construction challenges: salt air near the bay, century-old homes in Cuero and Goliad, ranch properties in Jackson County that need metal buildings and ag structures, and storm damage across the region every few years. I bring the same care to every project, regardless of size or scope.
